I've been a fan since I saw the Austin City Limits show. When are you going to make a pilgrimage out west so that we can see you here. The California Bluegrass Associatin puts on one of the best festivals in the nation. At least, that's what Eddie Stubbs told me. Try to get here. Also, boo to the person who cancelled "The Statler Brothers Show". I miss the show and they also put Margaret out of a job.

I've worked around Margaret and Richard for years, and have heard wonderful stories of the Cluster Pluckers escapades. Margaret was kind enough to give me a couple of CD's (The Cluster Pluckers & Unplucked) and I've been hooked ever since. On the weekends, is my Plucker time as I run my errands or just get out and ride around looking at the country side. Your music is relaxing, calming, and fun. Please know you all have provided much listening pleasure to my boyfriend and I as we enjoy our weekends drives. Being the holiday season, I guess I'll be purchasing a new CD to add to our collection. Keep on Pluckin, we sure do enjoy it!

I've never heard of your band until today when I heard one of your songs on a local station (KRMO...Dale Reed's program) I plan to order a CD as soon as I scrape up the money. I sell birdhouses for a living. I haven't sold any for a long time, but I am hopeful. Yesterday a bird flew over and put a deposit down on one. Tell Brent Howdy for me. I played at SDC in Branson at the same time he did. He was with Ed and Mary and the Bluegrass Bombers. I was with the Dubious Brothers.

i purchased one of your cd's and really love your playing and singing. your version of "what a friend we have in jesus" is jazzed up enough to make it joyful, but still retains it's sanctity. while i do not buy very much christian music, i truly believe the Lord led me to your disc. do you ever play in virginia? our church has a gardenfest every second and fourth sunday evenings in the summer, and we usually have about two or three hundred folks in attendance. while we have already booked our acts for this year, i would be interested in what you charge to play so that we could try to reserve you for a day next year. I don't know much about you, so I may be wrong in thinking that you did concerts at churches. please let me know how this is handled. thanx again for the great songs!

I'm not sure which came first: the Just Pluck It CD or knowing I missed that Austin City Limits. I borrowed the CD from my fiancee's daughter (despite major potential as a fiddler, she's not into music anymore: she's moved on to techno and raves, so I'm not counting on having to give the CD back) and have now added all the others. For almost 13 years, I've managed to slip under the radar of awareness the management of um, to use a familiar colloquialism, the left-wing Pacifica radion station KPFK-FM Los Angeles by hosting a weekly bluegrass radio show there. No anti-industrial diatribes (well, I do play "Paradise" every so once in a while), no political advocacy (well, I do play songs featuring ex-mayors Wayne Henderson and Jack Cooke) or new-age cosmic philosophy (well, I do play "Ain't No UFO Gonna Catch My Diesel" from time to time). Rambling point being that I hear a lot of bluegrass artists and the Pluckers are, if not my absolute favorite group, certainly in the top five. I'm delighted to have found the website so I can give listeners some direction in ordering CDs. This has been particularly vexing in the case of the Gospel Favorites (10 stars on a scale of five) which contains no more specifics than "Nashville TN." In the randomeandering that brought me to clusterpluckers.com (Altavista was no censored help--I typed in the URL on a, to use a familar colloquialism, wing and a prayer), I passed a few other sources like County Sales and Elderly Instruments which I can give as potential referrals. In July, I'll be making my second trip to Nashville in 27 years since transferring from Vanderbilt in mid-sophomore year (why, you're now asking yourself am I reading anything someone who'd do something this stupid would have to say?) for the NAMM Show. I noticed tonight that the Station Inn doesn't have their July schedule posted yet, so please get yourselves booked there sometime between July 21 and 23. If July 20 or 24, I'll come early or stay over. Pluckers rule the roost.

I have enjoyed your wonderful music for many years. The metronomically accuracy of Dale's bass playing is only slightly eclipsed by the ethereal harmonies of Chris and Margaret. I particulary enjoyed a hansome guest's reggae styled version of Rocky Top one night. I regret that I may have to miss the May 5th show - trouble with Father's rubber plantation forces me off to Africa.
